Abstract

Copper - Quick Reference

Copper is used for the treatment of saltwater parasites but should not otherwise be present in the aquarium. Copper can kill invertebrates and macro algae. Cu levels should be 0 in all tanks with inverts. Treatment levels are between .15 and .6 depending on the type of copper being used. See Instructions of the product being used. Always remove copper from the system with PolyFilters once treatment is complete.
