This reactor is designed for use in the sump and is powered by either a small powerhead or by draining a protein skimmer into it. It is perfect for preventing bubbles created by protein skimmers from entering the sump of the filter. It boosts biological, mechanical, and/or chemical filtration depending on how it is packed. The Model G is included with all UP2000 filters. Special pricing is available on Model G Reactors purchased with Aquarium Life Support Systems Protein Skimmers. In addition, an optional lid is available on reactors for use with protein skimmers.
