Pump and Media sold Separately

Cascade A:

This 12" x 8.7" x 9" aquarium is the smallest of the cascade aquarium set at 4 gallons in size. What truly sets this aquarium apart from the others is the included back filter compartment. With a regular tank, a filter and heater can both be seen and distract from the beauty of the aquarium. Not in this case! The back filter hides all of that within the footprint of the tank, all you can see from the front is a black background. The 2.5" filter extends the entire back of the tank and is divided into 3 sections that direct the water flow. The first chamber maintains a water level of 5.5”. This chamber is typically where you would put a heater. Water flows to the bottom of this first chamber and then is driven up to the top of the second chamber. The second chamber is designed to house the filter media such as carbon, sponges, or floss, and its water level will maintain 4”. A sponge or pad cut to 2.25” x 2.75” will fit snugly in this chamber and prevent water bypass. The third and final chamber is designed to fit most popular models of nano pumps between 50-150 gph. The level in this chamber will fluctuate due to evaporation. With the filter components all contained in the back of the tank you can truly have your aquascape contained in a 12" x 8.7" footprint!

Trusted quality backed by Hydra Aquatics and SevenPorts where nano aquascaping started.

9/16" tubing and Flare nozzle return included.

12" x 8.7" x 9" with Mat

Oase Optimax 85i (OA230), Aquatop NP-80 (AQ208), are both excellent pump choices to accompany this tank, each sold separately.

Oase Optimax 135i (OA231), and Aquatop NP-302 (AQ209) will also fit in the pump chamber, and both offer increased flow that would be compatible with a saltwater nano tank of this size.

Cascade B:

This 17.7” x 11.8” x 11” aquarium is the middle size of the cascade aquarium set, at 10 gallons in size. The first chamber maintains a water level of 7”. This chamber is typically where you would put a heater. Water flows to the bottom of this first chamber and then is driven up to the top of the second chamber, where it then flows back down toward the bottom. The second chamber is designed to house the filter media such as carbon, sponges, or floss, and its water level will maintain 5.5”. A sponge or pad cut to 2.25” x 5.25” will fit snugly in this chamber and prevent water bypass. The third and final chamber is designed to fit most popular models of nano pumps between 100-300 gph. The level in this chamber will fluctuate due to evaporation. With the filter components all contained in the back of the tank you can truly have your aquascape contained in a 17.7” x 11.8” footprint!

9/16" tubing and Flare nozzle return included.

17.7” x 11.8” x 11” with Mat

Oase Optimax 135i (OA231), Oase Optimax 250 (OA232), Oase Optimax 285 (OA233), Aquatop NP-302 (AQ209), and Aquatop NP-305 (AQ210) are all excellent pump choices to accompany this tank, each sold separately.

Cascade C:

This 23.62" x 15.75" x 15" aquarium is the largest size of the cascade aquarium set. The first chamber maintains a water level of 9.75”. This chamber is typically where you would put a heater.
