The Seachem aquavitro products are my first choice for reef aquariums. I personally use these supplements at home and am very happy with the success I have had with them. My favorite product is Balance. Typically, you have pH and KH combination products that raise both levels. Well, not Balance. Balance prevents the "seesaw" effect by balancing the carbonate buffer system ratio. You can simply raise your pH without affecting calcium and alkalinity. You dose, retest in 3 minutes and can re-dose if necessary. My favorite thing about balance: it can be used within minutes of calcification, eight.four, and ions!
